Yin uses passive postures held for longer periods of time in order to deeply open the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and spine. This allows release of lactic acid and buried emotions, as well as greatly aiding the digestive system. Poses will be tailored to each practitioners’ body with the incorporation of bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps.
