The Yoga Loft Studio Situated in Historic Ybor City, Strengthens the Mind and Body of People In and Around Tampa
Welcome to the Yoga Loft, a space to breathe deeply, to quiet the mind, and to strengthen and heal the body. Our modern yet cozy boutique-style studio is conveniently located in the heart of Ybor City next to the railroad tracks on 20th St. The Yoga Loft is an easy 10-20 minute commute for almost anyone in Hillsborough County. With over 20 classes a week and many exciting workshops every month, we offer something to fit everyone’s schedule.
Our smaller class sizes guarantee personalized attention from our Yoga Alliance-certified instructors, allowing beginner, intermediate & advanced yogis to feel comfortable and fully integrated within our wonderful community.
Founder Ashley Thesier opened the Yoga Loft in May 2011 to bring the rich benefits of yoga to Ybor City and the Tampa Bay area. Our studio prides itself on guiding students through a meaningful yogic journey, exploring everyone’s physical, mental, and energetic edges. There is no script. While classes have general descriptions, each one is unique and follows the energy of the students who are present. Sometimes they might be intense and sweaty, other times we’ll keep things slow & smooth so that we can just let go and relax.
The Yoga Loft tries to truly help you receive the most meaning from your session. Whether you’re looking to get in physical shape, relieve stress, increase flexibility, or ease emotions, our talented, passionate instructors will help you reach your goals. The Loft comes fully equipped with complimentary mats, blocks, bolsters, wedges, and towels for each student. Tea, water, and snacks are offered as well!
Just like Ybor City, our studio is fun, unique, and guaranteed to show you a good time. Our instructors bring joyfulness, knowledge, and of course a great sense of humor to the mat. We look forward to seeing you in the studio, and we welcome you to our vibrant community.
“May our hearts and minds be lifted,
may our practice be freed of obstacles,
and may we carry its benefits into the world.”
